Mekatilili wa Menza

A student-led theatrical play portraying the life and resistance of Mekatilili wa Menza. Exceptionally executed by Woodcreek students, this performance showcased the powerful story of one of Kenya’s most iconic heroines.

Shujaa Stories: A Celebration of Kenya Through Ballet

An elegant fusion of art, history, and culture through ballet. Students from Dance Centre Kenya brought to life the stories of Kenya’s Shujaas through dance, accompanied by live music. Shujaa Stories complemented the performance with a mini exhibition of the heroes featured on stage.

Wangu wa Makeri: Gikuyu Musical Play

In this critically acclaimed play, Shujaa Stories contributed a mini exhibition celebrating legendary women from across Kenya. Many of their names and legacies were referenced in the production, enhancing the audience’s understanding of their historical impact.
